Below is a mix of key player and team stats provided by the NFL, the 49ers, and Pro Football Focus.
Key Player Statistics
Quarterback C.J. Beathard completed 15-of-27 pass attempts for 170 yards with a touchdown. He was, however, also responsible for three of the 49ers' four turnovers. Beathard threw two interceptions (CB Troy Hill, LB Samson Ebukam) and lost a fumble.
Beathard was under pressure on 17 of his 35 dropbacks (48.6 percent) and was 2-of-9 for 21 yards, an interception, seven sacks, and a passer rating of 0.0 when under pressure, per Pro Football Focus.
Tackle Joe Staley had his second-straight game not allowing a pressure. His 88.7 Pro Football Focus grade was the best among all NFL tackles during Week 7.
Tight end George Kittle caught five passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Sunday was Kittle's third game this season with 90-or-more reception yards (90 at Min., 9/9; 125 at LAC, 9/30). Kittle is one of just three tight ends in the NFL with three games of 90-or-more reception yards (TE Zach Ertz – 4; TE Travis Kelce – 3).
Kittle is the first 49ers tight end to register 90-or-more reception yards in three games during a single-season since tight end Vernon Davis did so in 2010.
Running back Raheem Mostert registered a career-high four receptions for 19 yards while adding seven carries for 59 yards and averaging 8.4 yards per run.
49ers receivers had just four catches in the game. Marquise Goodwin registered two for 24 yards while Trent Taylor and Pierre Garçon each had one for a combined 11 reception yards.
Defensive end Arik Armstead registered a career-high five solo tackles and sacked Rams quarterback Jared Goff for a nine-yard loss. It was his second sack of the season.
Defensive end Cassius Marsh also brought down Goff, but for an 8-yard loss. He too has two sacks this season.
It was a rough outing for linebacker Reuben Foster, who was credited by Pro Football Focus with three missed tackles.
Key Team Statistics
The 49ers only had two penalties for 10 yards.
The 49ers defense only managed to pressure Goff on six of his 27 dropbacks, per Pro Football Focus. The Rams quarterback was 17-of-20 for 196 yards with two touchdowns and a passer rating of 140.8 when there was no pressure.
