Marquise Goodwin
Marquise Goodwin left the game early in the second quarter with what was reported to be a quadriceps contusion. The injury initially appeared more serious, but the receiver tried to return to the game during the second half.
"He was out for a while," head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game. "He came back for a couple of plays. He tried to go hard, but it was tough for him to run, so he ended up going back out again after that."
Mike Person and Joshua Garnett
Both Mike Person and Joshua Garnett left Sunday's game with foot injuries. Person started at right guard and was replaced by Garnett after his injury. Losing both of the offensive linemen prompted the 49ers to play Garry Gilliam at right tackle and move rookie Mike McGlinchey from the outside to right guard.
"Both of our guards with Person and Garnett, we're not sure (on the extent of their injuries)," Shanahan said. "They're going to have to get looked at more, but it was definitely too bad for them to come out. Hopefully, we'll see if we'll see if they have a possibility of (playing) next week, tomorrow."
McGlinchey had never played snaps at guard before Sunday's action. Gilliam returned from a concussion, so the coaching staff felt it best to keep him at his natural position and have McGlinchey fill in for the losses.
"My hat's off to him," Shanahan said of the rookie right tackle. "He didn't hesitate. He was excited about the challenge. He went in there and did his best."
Brock Coyle
"Brock there at the end, I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I know it was a head injury so I'd be assuming concussion or neck or stinger or something," Shanahan said. "But that's why we lost him there at the end."
The 49ers PR staff later confirmed that Brock Coyle suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter. He started the game alongside rookie Fred Warner, who had an impressive outing. Elijah Lee replaced Coyle.
Updates on Monday
Shanahan is scheduled to speak to the media at Levi's Stadium at 4 p.m. PT on Monday. He will undoubtedly provide injury updates at that time.
