Owens opted to address a crowd of family, friends, and fans from McKenzie Arena at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga rather than attend the festivities in Canton, Ohio.
This week, Owens released the following behind-the-scenes look at his event at McKenzie Arena and included an explanation for his unprecedented decision to skip on the ceremony in Canton.
