Adrian Colbert, who is projected to be the 49ers' starting free safety, is training with three-time first-team All-Pro Earl Thomas. The second-year Niner learning from one of the best safeties in the game bodes well for his development.
Thomas posted the following photo two days ago of those taking part in the workout, including Colbert.
The 49es made Colbert a seventh-round draft pick out of Miami last year. He started six of the 49ers' final seven games as a rookie. Colbert finished 2017 with 37 combined tackles, five passes defensed, and two forced fumbles through 14 game appearances.
Meanwhile, Thomas is involved in a contract dispute and has hinted that he would love to play for the Dallas Cowboys.
