Goodwin was reportedly taken to a local hospital as a precaution but was back in the 49ers locker room with his teammates at the end of the game, according to tackle Joe Staley.
Goodwin wasn't the only 49ers player to leave Sunday's game with an injury. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and linebacker Reuben Foster sustained injuries against the Rams. Although, Shanahan didn't seem too concerned about either injury and said both players were kept out of the remainder of the game as a precaution.

"Buck, I believe was hurt in the first half," Shanahan said of Buckner. "He came back out and tried to go again and then it was bothering him, so we just shut him down ... It was his chest. I don't know the details or how serious it is. I don't believe, since he was able to come back in, that it's going to be too serious, but that's about all I know so far."
"Reuben was fine," Shanahan said regarding Foster. "He -- I don't want to say fine -- but he got a bad stinger there, and he could have gone back in, but it was later in the game, so we just pulled him out."
Buckner was credited with an assist while Foster had two tackles and three assists against the Rams.
