In addition, tackle Trent Brown, kicker Robbie Gould, running back Carlos Hyde, and tackle Joe Staley were selected as alternates.
Juszczyk, a five-year veteran, signed with the 49ers as a free agent in March. This will be his second-consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.
In 12 games played this season (nine starts), Juszczyk has seven carries for 31 yards and 24 receptions for 220 yards and one touchdown. During a Week 14 win over the Chicago Bears, he finished with three receptions for a single-game career-high 64 yards.
The last 49ers fullback to be selected to the Pro Bowl was Fred Beasley in 2003.
The annual all-star game pits the top players from the NFC and the AFC against each other. The rosters are filled via voting from coaches, players, and fans with each group counting for one-third of the total votes.
The Pro Bowl will be played on January 28, 2018 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It will be televised nationally by ESPN and simulcasted on ABC. Following a ten-year deal that began in 2017, this will be the second year the Pro Bowl is played in Orlando. 35 of the previous 37 games were played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The 49ers failed to send any representatives to the Pro Bowl following the 2016 season.
