Team wanted to bring Wong in for workout

Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers wanted to bring in free-agent LB Kailee Wong (Texans) for a workout. Wong felt he wasn't in midseason shape. "After the 49ers called last week, he didn't feel he had a sufficient base to play this year," said Wong's agent Steve Baker.
