Tackle Trent Brown (concussion), guard Brandon Fusco (biceps), defensive end Aaron Lynch (calf), and cornerback K'Waun Williams (quad) did not practice. Wide receiver Pierre Garçon and defensive end Elvis Dumervil were each given a veteran day off.
Another interesting practice note is that Eric Reid warmed up with the linebackers and not the defensive backs. In an effort to get the best 11 defensive players on the field, the safety was asked to play a hybrid linebacker role on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Jaquiski Tartt played at the strong safety spot during nickel packages.
Below are the official Wednesday practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Eagles, as provided by the 49ers Communications department.
