During halftime of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys at Levi's Stadium, the San Francisco 49ers honored legendary wide receiver Dwight Clark as he battles ALS. Clark, who has already had his jersey number (87) retired by the 49ers, was in attendance along with over 30 of his former teammates, including former greats like Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Also in attendance was former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr.

Clark is best known for "The Catch," which ushered in an era of dominance by the 49ers and led to the team's first of six Super Bowl appearances. The 49ers were victorious in the first five and Clark took part in the first two.

Fans in attendance at "Dwight Clark Day" received T-shirts that honored the 49ers legend.
