The San Francisco 49ers made a number of roster moves on Monday. The team has signed three undrafted free agents who attended a three-day minicamp over the weekend to try out for the roster. Apparently, they impressed enough to make it.

The 49ers have signed wide receiver B.J. Johnson of Georgia Southern, offensive lineman Richard Levy of UConn, and safety Chanceller James of Boise State. To make room on the roster, the team released wide receiver KD Cannon of Baylor on Sunday and offensive lineman Bret Treadway of Lamar on Monday. Both were signed as undrafted free agents following the draft. The team also released running back DuJuan Harris.

Johnson played in 44 games with Georgia Southern, starting 35. During that time, he had 92 receptions for 1,377 yards and six touchdowns. In 2016, he started 12 games and led the team with 42 receptions for 600 yards and three touchdowns. Johnson is 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds.

The 6-foot-6 and 316-pound Levy started all 37 games for the Huskies over the past three seasons. In 2016, he helped the Huskies rush for 100-or-more yards six times.

In three seasons with the Broncos, the 6-foot-2 and 208-pound James accumulated 170 tackles, 10.5 for a loss, two sacks, four interceptions and seven passes defended. In 2016, he started 12 games and accumulated 80 tackles, a team-high three interceptions, and one pass defended.
