Included in those 101 players are the 22 reported prospects who the team has reportedly hosted. The 49ers were permitted to host up to 30 players for visits to the team's headquarters in Santa Clara. Those visitors were not allowed to work out for the team unless they were local prospects. The last day for hosted visits was on Wednesday.
The most recent reported visits to the 49ers' headquarters were LSU running back Leonard Fournette, Michigan safety Jabrill Peppers, Iowa tight end George Kittle, Connecticut safety Obi Melifonwu, and Florida cornerback Teez Tabor, who all visited on Wednesday.
Of course, it is conceivable and extremely likely that the 49ers indeed used their entire maximum of 30 hosted players and that the 22 reported ones are simply the prospects who we know about. If we assume that the 49ers hosted 30 players prior to Wednesday's deadline, the number jumps to 109 prospects who the 49ers have hosted, worked out, or met with.
Below is a complete list of those known prospects. Not included is quarterback Jerod Evans of Virginia Tech, who the 49ers were simply reported as showing interest in. Also not included are the 43 players from the 49ers' local pro day, whose names can be found here. For a complete breakdown of each type of meeting, including who originally reported it, visit our always up to date 49ers 2017 Pre-Draft Visit/Meeting Tracker.
The list also includes six quarterbacks – five of whom are the top-rated signal callers in this draft class. Those five are Mitch Trubisky of North Carolina, Deshaun Watson of Clemson, Patrick Mahomes of Texas Tech, DeShone Kizer of Norte Dame, and Davis Webb of Cal.

It is important to note that these are simply the draft prospects who we know about. The actual number of official and unofficial meetings could be much higher. In addition to unknown workouts or individual meetings, representatives from the team may have also met with prospects at school pro days and had those meetings go unreported.
