Evans started all 14 games in his only season with Virginia Tech after transferring from a junior college program. He completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 3,546 yards and 29 touchdowns while throwing just eight interceptions. Evans added 846 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns, making him a dual threat.
Evans also played for Air Force in 2013, but a torn ACL ended his time with the program.
