The San Francisco 49ers have officially signed former Baltimore Ravens FB Kyle Juszczyk to a four-year deal. The agreement between Juszczyk and the 49ers was reported on Wednesday, but could not become official until after the start of free agency at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that the four-year deal is worth $21 million.


The 49ers didn't have a fullback on the roster last season. Bruce Miller was the team's fullback the previous season and was trying to convert to a tight end in Chip Kelly's offense, but legal problems led the 49ers to release Miller a week prior to the start of the regular season.

Juszczyk, who turns 26 in April, was a fourth-round selection out of Harvard by Baltimore in the 2013 NFL Draft. He was selected to the Pro Bowl last season and was a 2016 First-Team All-Pro. Juszczyk has been a capable receiver as well. He has 97 catches for 769 yards and five touchdowns since 2014.
