For those willing to pay face value, the 49ers were already the priciest team in the NFL to watch. Of course, this past season, you could get into the stadium at a significantly lower price because ticket holders were desperate to get rid of their seats. Often, fans would pay more for parking than to get into the actual game itself.
In response, the 49ers announced to season ticket holders that they have frozen ticket prices for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The team sent out the following email on Tuesday:
"We are announcing that 49ers season ticket pricing will be frozen through the 2018 season. Invoices for your 2017 season tickets will be made available to view and pay online in the coming weeks, including the option to enroll in a multi-month payment plan."
