OT Joe Staley was the lone 49ers player that did not practice today. He is dealing with a hamstring injury. If Staley cannot go on Sunday, there may have to be a shift along the offensive line to cover for his absence.
RB Shaun Draughn and OLB Aaron Lynch continue to be limited in practice. Draughn is recovering from a rib injury suffered during Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. He has been wearing a blue non-contact jersey this week. Lynch, who has missed nine games this season and five straight, has been attempting to return from a high ankle sprain.
"We think he's made progress," Kelly told reporters today while discussing Lynch. "I think one of the things that will be interesting is can he go two days in a row...We'd love to be able to get him up and get him ready to go on Sunday."
DE Quinton Dial, who is dealing with an elbow injury, returned to practice today after not practicing on Wednesday.
Below are the Thursday practice participation reports for both the 49ers and the Jets.
