RB Shaun Draughn, who is celebrating his 29th birthday today, was limited for the second day of practice in a row. He has been wearing a blue non-contact jersey this week after suffering a rib injury during Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. Draughn had 20 yards on five carries in Chicago.
On Sunday, OLB Aaron Lynch missed his ninth game of the season and his fifth straight due to an ankle injury. He participated in practice today, but was also limited. "Lynch still looks noticeably gimpy on his injured ankle while he works in individual drills during the portion of practice open to the media," said Chris Biderman of Niners Wire on Tuesday.
DE Quinton Dial did not practice due to an elbow injury. He played sparingly in Chicago.
Interestingly enough, ILB NaVorro Bowman made an appearance at practice. Obviously, he did not participate and was there simply to lift weights. Bowman was placed on injured reserve on October 6 after suffering a torn Achilles against the Dallas Cowboys on October 2.
Below are the Wednesday practice participation reports for both the 49ers and the Jets.
