The San Francisco 49ers will head to Pittsburgh today as the team prepares for their Sunday morning game against the Steelers. According to head coach Jim Tomsula, one player that will not make the trip is RB Reggie Bush, who is still recovering from the left calf injury that he suffered on Monday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Bush was injured during the first quarter of that game and, after struggling to get off the field, was eventually carted to the locker room.

On Tuesday, he had an MRI at Stanford which revealed that there was no tear involved. While he is currently walking without a limp, Bush is receiving electro-stimulation therapy to the calf. Yesterday, he was the only 49ers player listed on the team's injury report.

In addition to Bush, WR Bruce Ellington has an ankle injury but will practice and is likely to make the trip with the team.

Jarryd Hayne will be Carlos Hyde's backup on Sunday. Mike Davis will be activated for the game as well.
