49ers hold private workout with trio of Bucknell players

The San Francisco 49ers held a private workout with a trio of Bucknell Bison players at the university in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, per NFL Draft Diamonds. Those players were quarterback R.J. Nitti, offensive tackle Julie'n Davenport, and wide receiver Will Carter.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound Nitti played in 29 games over four years with the Bison and started 27 of those. He passed for 5,171 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 27 interceptions in his four years with the program. Nitti's senior season was cut short by an injury in the second game of the year.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Carter caught 195 passes for 2,744 yards and 18 touchdowns over his four years. His reception and yard totals were school records.

Davenport was a two-year team captain and a three-time First Team All-Patriot League selection.
