The big news from Wednesday's practice were the returns of San Francisco 49ers rookie linebacker Reuben Foster and veteran safety Eric Reid. Foster is returning from a high-ankle sprain suffered on September 10 against the Carolina Panthers while Reid is returning from a PCL injury he sustained on September 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. Both were limited during practice.

The winless 49ers are preparing for a road game on Sunday against the Washington Redskins at FedExField in Landover, Maryland. The team will hold three full practices this week before boarding a plane for the East Coast.


Linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong was also limited during Wednesday's practice and wore a blue no-contact jersey.
