The seemingly neverending injury news got worse in a hurry for the San Francisco 49ers against the New York Jets on Sunday as defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas were carted off the field in the first quarter due to a knee injury. Bosa went down with the injury after a first down run from Jets running back Frank Gore. Bosa was visibly in pain on the turf before trainers carted him to the locker room. The San Francisco 49ers leave MetLife Stadium on Sunday with a costly 31-13 victory over the New York Jets. Very costly. The team watched as quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (high-ankle sprain), and defensive linemen Nick Bosa (likely an ACL injury) and Solomon Thomas (knee) left the game with injuries. They did not return.
