The 49ers took two more hits on the defensive line Friday, with defensive tackle Maurice Hurst suffering what is likely to be a season-ending injury and defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway sustaining a quad injury that could cost him a couple weeks of practice. News of both injuries was announced by head coach Kyle Shanahan ahead of Saturday's practice session.
