49ers draft potential ‘SAK’ in South Florida’s Daniels

In 2009, in his first college start, Daniels accounted for 341 totals yards – including 126 rushing – in a 17-7 upset of No. 18 Florida State on the road. Last year, it was clear he'd earned the respect of the first quarterback drafted this year: Florida State's E.J. Manuel, who went No. 16 overall to the Bills.

49ers hosted Florida State WR Johnny Wilson on pre-draft visit

According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, the San Francisco 49ers hosted former Florida State wide receiver Johnny Wilson on a pre-draft visit this week. Wilson registered 41 receptions for 617 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games as a senior in 2023, per Sports Reference. His best statistical season came in 2022 when he hauled in 43 passes for 897 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Throughout his collegiate career, Wilson caught 102 passes for 1,757 yards with eight touchdowns over four seasons. He spent his first two seasons with Arizona State before transferring to Florida

Trent Williams will be 36 at the start of the 2024 NFL season. While retirement isn't on his mind just yet, the San Francisco 49ers must consider a succession plan for left tackle. NFL Media's Bucky Brooks unveiled his final mock draft, projecting the San Francisco 49ers to select former Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan with the No. 31 overall pick as their eventual replacement for Williams.
