General manager John Lynch and the 49ers scouting department will join the football world on Feb. 24 in Indianapolis for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine.After last month's East-West Shrine game and the Senior Bowl, the scouting combine is the biggest stop on the path to the draft, and the interviews between the players and scouting departments are just as important as the after-hours conversations between various team personnel.The 49ers are looking to add talent at many position groups, particularly in the trenches on both the offensive and defensive lines. There also are skill positions where the 49ers could use some depth, including tight end and wide receiver.The 49ers are expected to have 10 selections in the 2025 NFL Draft while likely receiving an additional compensatory pick due to the performance of quarterback Sam Darnold, who led the Minnesota Vikings into the postseason.Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who Matt Maiocco pegged to the 49ers with the No. 11 overall pick in his Mock Draft Version 2.0, will attend the combine.
