The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 14 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Defensive end Nick Bosa missed his third consecutive practice after emerging from this past weekend's game against the Miami Dolphins with what head coach Kyle Shanahan described as some hamstring irritation. Bosa is listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game.

"It was more on Monday," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Bosa's injury. "Sometimes those guys are going in the games, and that does happen. ... It was bothering him on Monday, and we got it looked into it, and it was legit."

Shanahan added that Bosa falls into the category of players who don't need to practice during the week to play on Sundays. The fact that the 49ers will have a quick turnaround after the upcoming game is a factor too. The team will play the Seattle Seahawks next Thursday night.

"You definitely have got to take that into account," Shanahan said.

As expected, the 49ers have ruled out quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway, and defensive back Tarvarius Moore. Moore is expected to miss a few weeks, while the other two might miss the rest of the season, with a playoff return being a slight possibility, depending on what type of postseason run the Niners have.

San Francisco doesn't currently plan to place Garoppolo or Ridgeway on the injured reserve list, said Shanahan.

Defensive lineman Arik Armstead, guard Spencer Burford, running back Christian McCaffrey, and wide receiver Deebo Samuel were limited during Wednesday and Thursday's practices but were full participants on Friday. They did not appear on the game status report, which means they are all good to go for Sunday.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Buccaneers, provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Friday's practice participation reports.

Rapoport: 49ers send clear message to teams inquiring about Brandon Aiyuk

By David Bonilla
Apr 16

Ian Rapoport didn't offer much of an update on the ongoing contract negotiations between the San Francisco 49ers and their standout wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk. However, the NFL insider emphasized one thing: The team is not entertaining trade discussions at this juncture. Reacting to Aiyuk's decision to unfollow the 49ers on Instagram, Rapoport couldn't help but chuckle at the latest development. This practice has become commonplace among players who are unhappy with their contract situations. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel similarly took this action in 2022 before requesting to be traded just before the draft. Things have yet to escalate that far with Aiyuk, but Rapoport sees his
