Fred Warner believes you played a significant role in helping the team overcome the devastating loss of a teammate and earning its first win of the season. The linebacker loved the element that the home crowd brought to the game.
"Huge. Huge, huge, huge," Warner said after the game. "I mean, I've been a part of some pretty loud games. That one was super loud from the start to the finish. I was so happy to be back home in front of our fans.
"It's The Faithful. They call them The Faithful for a reason, so it was super fun to be back out there."
The 49ers welcomed a return to Levi's Stadium after a disappointing and unexpected road loss a week earlier in the regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears.
San Francisco dominated the stat line against Seattle, showing that Week 1 may have been a fluke. The 49ers offense racked up 373 total yards (compared to 216 by Seattle), 189 rushing yards (compared to 36), 25 first downs (compared to 14), and had the football for over 38 minutes.
"It felt good," wide receiver
Deebo Samuel said. "We left one short last week. Right now, we're supposed to be 2-0, but we're 1-1 and onto the next [game]."
While the 49ers are happy to finally get into the win column, it came at a high cost. Starting quarterback Trey Lance suffered a broken ankle at the end of the first quarter and will undergo season-ending surgery on Monday.
San Francisco will push forward with veteran Jimmy Garoppolo, who returned to the team on a restructured one-year contract.
"The Faithful were rocking today," Garoppolo said before leaving the field. "It was a hell of a time at Levi's."
The 49ers will be back at Levi's Stadium on Monday, October 3, for another division matchup, this time against the Los Angeles Rams. However, before then, they will travel to Denver, Colorado, to face the Broncos in a Week 3 inter-conference contest.

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday.
Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.
