With the San Francisco 49ers' home opener against the Seattle Seahawks right around the corner, I had the chance to check out the 49ers' concession showcase in partnership with Levy. It's always a great opportunity to check out new food selections and local vendors being added into the mix for this upcoming season.

Executive Chef "Kitchen QB" Jon Severson was on hand to showcase the menu with a colorful red-and-gold display featuring foods from both general concessions and concession partners. Prior to partnering with Levi's Stadium, Severson brings nearly 20 years of experience working with NFL, NBA, and NFL venues across the country in the culinary field. Stevenson was also a part of The Skillet group with chef Josh Henderson.

General concessions included Silva as the 49ers' new hot dog vendor along with a variety of new nachos selections by Tostitos. Throughout the season, ticket-holders can also look forward to a rotating menu of creative items by Doritos and Fritos. Example? How about Fritos and barbeque pork belly nachos? Food for thought.

Concession partners were showcased with a variety of cuisines. Super Duper Burgers, Burgess Brothers, and Tony G's Slice House were on full display with burgers, hot links, and pizza. Notably, Tony G's Slice House introduced the Gold Rush pizza—a Sicilian-style pizza topped with gold rush toppings (including pepperoni and applewood-smoked bacon). Local Mexican cuisine Puesto was added into the mix, featuring quesabirria tacos and potato taquitos. On the sweeter side, local favorite Psycho Donuts featured a variety of 49ers-themed donuts while Cream + Sugar ice cream offered mini ice cream sandwiches.

Launched last season, season ticket holders can continue to enjoy the benefits of the Member Inclusive Menu. This menu provides all season ticket members with core food and drinks for FREE on game days. Items include hot dogs, nachos, chicken tenders, pretzels, fries, popcorn, and candy. Over 300K concessions items were distributed for $1.9 million in free concessions.

Lastly, the 49ers unveiled a nice surprise with the opening of The Golden Road Pub, a clubhouse pub that was previously occupied by Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak & Pub. In partnership with Golden Road Brewing, will be the go-to pub with a rotating menu of barbeque items on the menu on game day. The Golden Road Pub is open to everyone on game day.

Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz reports that the San Francisco 49ers were among several NFL teams in attendance for former Illinois defensive tackle Jer'Zhan Newton's pro day workout. The defender also goes by the name "Johnny." Illinois DT Johnny Newton, a projected 1st-round pick, just wrapped up an impressive Pro Day — showcasing elite explosion and power after a Jones fracture that he's fully healed from.I'm told the following teams were in attendance, among others:BillsCowboys49ersJets… pic.twitter.com/ggMIiIBkub—

John Lynch on new draft dynamic, 49ers' chances of trading from No. 31

By David Bonilla
Apr 22

As customary, NFL teams engage in preliminary discussions about potential draft trades during owner meetings. The San Francisco 49ers currently hold the No. 31 spot in the first round but appear receptive to moving either up or down. The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday night. General manager John Lynch addressed reporters on Monday and acknowledged the wide range of possibilities. However, he noted that any potential discussions about trading spots with other teams will likely intensify later in the week. "It's going to be an interesting year," Lynch stated. "I think it's an interesting draft class. I was just looking at my notes and one interesting thing to me, dynamic, and the way of the world right now, we put a grade on players in the fall if we think

By David Bonilla

When asked about the possibility of wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk not being on the San Francisco 49ers roster on Friday morning, general manager John Lynch responded, "I wouldn't anticipate that." Lynch assured reporters that signing Aiyuk to a long-term extension is a priority, stating, "And our wish is that he's here and a part of the Niners for the rest of his career. We're working through that." While Lynch didn't elaborate on the conversations occurring behind closed doors, Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that a potential trade remains a

49ers add pass rusher in new 7-round mock draft

By David Bonilla
Apr 15

Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team revealed his latest mock draft, which goes seven rounds deep and projects every selection for every NFL team. While most predict that the San Francisco 49ers will add an offensive lineman with their first selection, No. 31 overall, Mosher has the Bay Area team going in a different direction. The writer and analyst has the Niners selecting former UCLA pass rusher Laiatu Latu in the first round. "It wouldn't be a shock to see Laiatu Latu fall in the draft due to his medical history, but he is too good of a value to pass up here at No. 31," Mosher wrote. "The San Francisco 49ers have been searching for the right pass
