After an eventful day of organized team activities (OTAs) on Tuesday, which marked the first time that the media was allowed at practice during Phase 3 of the offseason schedule, the night ended with some unexpected news regarding a certain San Francisco 49ers player.

Here is the latest 49ers news:

Frustrated 49ers DT Javon Kinlaw lashes out at reporter

After an encounter that occurred during the open portion of OTAs between Javon Kinlaw, the third-year defensive tackle for the 49ers, and Sports Illustrated's Grant Cohn, in which Kinlaw reportedly knocked Cohn's hat off, the 24-year old player joined Cohn's YouTube livestream late Tuesday night and provided a profanity-filled response to Cohn's previous criticism of Kinlaw.

In the video, Kinlaw, clearly frustrated from Cohn's prior words, told the Sports Illustrated reporter to quit speaking about him and revealed details about an encounter earlier that day.

"All I know is when I walked up on you, your f***ing body temperature was f***ing cold as ice," Kinlaw said. "Straight bitch. Your f****** balls shriveled up. Lil d*** n****. Stop f***ing playing with me, bruh."

It is currently unknown whether Kinlaw will face any punishment for his actions, but Cohn revealed Wednesday morning that he was in contact with the 49ers' PR department following Tuesday's incident.

Multiple players not practicing due to injury

There were several players that did not practice on Tuesday due to a slew of injuries, providing younger players with the opportunity to get reps in the 90-minute practice yesterday.

Linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair and Demetrius Flanagan-Fowles sat out due to shoulder surgery and knee tendinitis, respectively. Al-Shaair is expected to be back by training camp, while Flanagan-Fowles may play during OTAs.

Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill and tight ends George Kittle and Charlie Woerner sat out with lower body injuries as well, but all three are expected to be ready for training camp as well.

Additionally, right tackle Mike McGlinchey and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw are ahead of schedule and should be ready for training camp, per head coach Kyle Shanahan.

Deebo Samuel expected to return for mandatory minicamp

Following practice on Tuesday, head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters about the missing players from OTAs, specifically the veterans, and did express his beliefs that Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, and Deebo Samuel will be in attendance for mandatory minicamp.

"Yeah, Juice got here for OTA one, so he's been here. Today he had a personal thing with his family, so he had to leave today, but he was here yesterday. Trent, I expect to be here towards the end, we'll see. I know he'll at least be here, from what he says, when it's mandatory and same with Bosa and I'm expecting [WR] Deebo [Samuel] also."

The 49ers' mandatory minicamp is expected to take place from June 13-15th.
