The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their NFC Championship playoff contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The 49ers activated wide receiver Mohamed Sanu (knee) off of injured reserve, and he was out on the practice field preparing for the Rams. Cornerback Ambry Thomas was inactive against the Green Bay Packers due to a bone bruise in his knee. He practiced but was limited. Ambry Thomas practicing, but still not back in full. He'd normally be taking part in special teams drills at this stage of practice.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Wild Card playoff contest against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The good news for the 49ers is that tackle Trent Williams and running back Elijah Mitchell returned to practice after missing Wednesday's session. Mitchell played on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, leading the team with 85 rushing yards, which Williams was inactive. #49ers LT Trent Williams (elbow) IS on the field during early portion of practice.

ESPN writer Bill Barnwell made his playoff predictions all the way to Super Bowl LVI. He has the Kansas City Chiefs topping the Los Angeles Rams 31-24 in the NFL's championship game. The first order of business for the San Francisco 49ers to ensure that isn't the matchup will be to beat the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys in the opening round of postseason play, which begins this weekend. While many like the 49ers' chances in this matchup, Barnwell isn't sure San Francisco can come out on top. He predicts a 27-14 Dallas win at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. Barnwell admits that the 49ers have a talented roster capable of upsetting any opponent. However, like many playoff teams this year, it is not without flaws.
