Former hard-hitting NFL safety John Lynch, now the general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, was presented his Hall of Fame ring and honored at Raymond James Stadium during halftime of Monday night's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants.

Lynch was inducted as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2021, rewarding his career with the Buccaneers and Denver Broncos. The nine-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time All-Pro, and Super Bowl XXXVII champion played 15 combined NFL seasons and amassed 1,051 combined tackles, 26 interceptions, 13 sacks, and 16 forced fumbles, per ESPN statistics.

On Sunday, Lynch was at TIAA Bank Field to watch his 49ers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-10. He then traveled to Tampa, Florida, for the halftime ceremony.

"You guys supported me in the lean times, when we were 4-12, when we were 5-11," Lynch told the fans at Raymond James Stadium. "And the proudest moment in my football life was bringing the Lombardi trophy back here to Raymond James with these guys for you."

In the videos below, you can watch former Pro Football Hall of Fame president and CEO David Baker present Lynch with his ring and the former safety's speech.
