The San Francisco 49ers entered the Wild Card matchup against the Dallas Cowboys without linebacker Marcell Harris (Achilles), safety Talanoa Hufanga (knee), and defensive lineman Maurice Hurst (calf). All three were among the team's seven inactive players. Below are the 49ers-Cowboys in-game injury updates. DE Jordan Willis Willis left the field slowly close to the end of the first half. The 49ers announced him as "questionable" to return due to an ankle injury. Update: Willis returned to the game. DE Nick Bosa Bosa remained down the field near the end of the first half

While speaking with reporters after Sunday's playoff win, head coach Kyle Shanahan wasn't sure when his San Francisco 49ers would face the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round next weekend. He does now. The NFL announced that the Packers will host the 49ers at Lambeau Field on Saturday, January 22, at 5:15 p.m. PT (8:15 p.m. ET). The game will be televised on FOX. It's a rematch of the Week 3 contest between the two teams—a 30-28 Packers victory at Levi's Stadium. "I'm ready," defensive tackle D.J. Jones said after the 49ers' 23-17 win over the Cowboys. "Not right now, but we will be. We definitely will be. They're a great team, obviously, but

Neither was listed when the team released its game status report for injured players. Only three players—defensive end Nick Bosa (concussion), cornerback Ambry Thomas (knee), and defensive end Jordan Willis (ankle)—were listed as "questionable" for the game. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan sounded optimistic that Bosa and Thomas would be available against the Green Bay Packers. "We've got to put him on there because of the steps of the [concussion] protocol, but it's looking good," Shanahan said of Bosa. Garoppolo is still dealing with the torn ligament in his right thumb, an injury that

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided status updates for a number of players after practice on Friday, including quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo—but he still stopped short of naming him the starter for this weekend's game against the Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET/1:25 p.m. PT, FOX). Shanahan stuck to his stance of not announcing a starter between Garoppolo and rookie Trey Lance in order to give Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris more to think about, but he was clearly encouraged with what he saw from Garoppolo at practice throughout the week after missing last Sunday's start against the Houston Texans with a thumb injury. "He had a good week—a good week of practice when he was in there. I feel good with where he's at right now," Shanahan
