He also scored a touchdown for the second successive game while adding 50 receiving yards on five catches. In addition, the All-Pro registered a touchdown reception in consecutive weeks for the first time in his career.

For the first time in his career, wide receiver Deebo Samuel recorded a receiving touchdown and rushing touchdown in the same game. His 979 receiving yards rank second in the NFL, with only Cooper Kupp of the Rams (1,141 yards) ahead of him.

The 49ers' safety duo of Talanoa Hufanga and Jimmie Ward proved effective against the Rams. The latter came away with two interceptions, one of which was a pick-six. Ward's interceptions were the third and fourth of his career, and first since December 11, 2016. In addition, his 76.3 overall grade was a season-high.

Rookie Hufanga led the defense with a 77.7 overall grade — a career-high.
