SCORE ALERT: On the ensuing drive, the 49ers march down the field and after a costly 6-yard loss on an Elijah Mitchell run, the drive is killed, resulting in a 50-yard Robbie Gould field goal, giving the 49ers a 24-7 lead.

On 4th down near the redzone, the Rams attempt a fake field goal, but D.J. Jones isn't fooled and makes a swift tackle short of the sticks to force the turnover and leave the Rams down 21-7 with halftime coming soon.
Azeez Al-Shaair makes two critical tackles on 2nd and 3rd down to force a field goal attempt from the Los Angeles Rams. With a lack of pass rush, the linebacker has had a huge impact on the game.
After the Deebo Samuel touchdown, Matt Stafford has developed a rhythm in a relatively clean pocket, finding Van Jefferson for a 33-yard completion, and leading the Rams back in to San Francisco territory.
TOUCHDOWN ALERT: Following a 12-yard Brandon Aiyuk completion, Deebo Samuel takes the handoff into the endzone for an 8-yard touchdown run, giving the 49ers a 21-7 lead.

Pregame
Trey Sermon, the 49ers' third round pick, is expected to be the third running back on the depth chart Monday, behind Jeff Wilson Jr., who did not log a snap last weekend after being activated off IR.
Along with Jaylon Moore, Talanoa Hufanga is expected to start for the second straight week at strong safety, this time opposite starter Jimmie Ward, as the rookie looks to bounce back from last week's poor showing against the Arizona Cardinals.
With the inactives confirmed, the 49ers will be dressing all eight members of their rookie class for Monday Night's game against the Rams. Aaron Banks gets the nod over McKivitz, while fellow rookie offensive lineman Jaylon Moore is expected to start at right tackle.
