49ers' George Kittle: 'Trent Williams is the best football player in the NFL'
By David Bonilla

Trent Williams' 97.8 overall Pro Football Focus grade from the 2021 regular season led the NFL. In fact, it was the highest-ever grade awarded by the analytics site. Now, some will criticize the grade, arguing that you can't consider an offensive tackle the best player in the league.
Don't tell that to All-Pro tight end George Kittle, Williams' San Francisco 49ers teammate.
"Trent Williams is the best football player in the NFL," Kittle declared Friday on The Pat McAfee Show (h/t NBC Sports Bay Area). "I don't care. You could talk to me about any

49ers rookie Drake Jackson ready to 'get the answers to the test' from Nick Bosa

Drake Jackson knows he's going into a great situation. Two weeks ago, the 21-year-old rookie defensive end was the first selection by the San Francisco 49ers, added during the second round. Eventually, the 49ers expect him to fill the role once envisioned for Dee Ford—a strong pass rusher opposite phenom Nick Bosa.
Jackson could develop into that complementary piece for the 49ers defense. Luckily, he has a great role model in Bosa.
"Watching him, the whole D-line, watching them hunt, I cannot wait to go get out there with those guys and just turn up with them," Jackson told reporters on Friday.
After Jackson was drafted, Bosa was among several

The wideout showing up would have gone a long way in the team's efforts to mend its relationship with the do-it-all star player, even if Samuel didn't participate in on-field activities. At least, that is what Rapoport expressed during a Monday interview on The Pat McAfee Show.
That doesn't mean Rapoport feels that situation is impossible to resolve. In fact, the NFL insider feels Samuel does eventually return to the 49ers, which wasn't a certainty in April when news broke that the wideout had

Terrell Owens calls cause of Deebo Samuel-49ers rift 'unfortunate'

Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens has some insight on the situation between the San Francisco 49ers and their current wide receiver star, Deebo Samuel. Owens recently told NBC LX that he spoke with Samuel but wasn't willing to disclose the details of that conversation.
Owens did share the following, though, courtesy of NBC Sports Bay Area.
"I've talked to him personally. I know what's going on," Owens said before his Fan Controlled Football game over the weekend. "I know what transpired. Until he's ready to say what happened with that situation, I just keep that between us. But it's
