San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner is a wealthy man. The team is signing its All-Pro defender to a five-year, $95 million extension, making him the highest-paid linebacker in the NFL.

You can tell how respected and well-liked Warner is by the reactions on social media. His teammates applauded the star linebacker for receiving what he deserves after proving to be among the best in the league. Below are some of the reactions from 49ers players.

A former teammate, Joe Staley, also wanted to offer his congratulations and praise.

Patrick Willis may not have played with Warner, but there is a great deal of respect there too.

And let's not forget about Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard, who is probably ecstatic for his peer. Warner's deal set a new benchmark for linebackers, and Leonard is the next one in line for a massive contract.

Warner becomes the third 49ers player to receive a massive deal over the last year. The others are tight end George Kittle and offensive tackle Trent Williams. All three are the highest-paid players at their respective positions.
