Dicky Maegle, the Rice running back tackled in the 1954 Cotton Bowl by an Alabama player who came off the bench in one of the most legendary plays in college football history, died Sunday. He was 86.

49ers' Nick Bosa feels 'great' since returning to action

Last Sunday was Nick Bosa's first time back on the field for a regular season game since tearing his ACL in the second week of last season. The San Francisco 49ers star defender finished the game with four tackles (including three tackles for loss), one sack and two quarterback hits in the team's win over the Detroit Lions. Asked Thursday how he felt about his first game back from injury, Bosa responded, "It was nice just to get back out there, get 50 plays on turf, and feel great. So, I'm ecstatic about that, and just being back with the guys, and knowing that my body's ready for a season. I'm going to fix whatever issues, technically, I had and improve." That Bosa was
