Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens is thankful for another day. He was involved in what looks to be a significant multi-car accident but walked away fine. And from the sound of his Instagram post, it seems like no one involved suffered any significant injuries.

"I was on my way home but this is.. HOW MY DAY ENDED YESTERDAY and.. HOW MY DAY STARTED TODAY," wrote Owens with a set of pictures showing the damage from the accident and the second showing himself kneeling in prayer.

Added Owens: "Thankful for no injuries, health and able to see another day. God is Good."

The San Francisco 49ers made Owens a third-round draft pick out of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996. He remained with the team through 2003 before spending time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals.

The six-time Pro Bowler and five-time first-team All-Pro earned 1,078 career receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns. Owens ranks eighth all-time in receptions and is third to receivers Jerry Rice (22,895) and Larry Fitzgerald (17,492) in all-time receiving yards.

H/t to Alex Espinoza of NBC Sports for the find.

By David Bonilla
Mar 27

The San Francisco 49ers are actively working to sign wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk to a contract extension, aiming to maintain their talented young core of players. The team has reached agreements with star players during each of the last four offseasons, securing George Kittle in 2020, Fred Warner in 2021, Deebo Samuel in 2022, and Nick Bosa in 2023. Another key contributor poised for a new deal next offseason is quarterback Brock Purdy. Over the last couple of years, the 49ers have been in the unique position of not having to pay much money (relatively) to stock their quarterback room while reaping the benefits of superb play from their starting signal-caller.
