The San Francisco 49ers may have one of the more entertaining long snappers in the NFL. Anyone following Taybor Pepper on Twitter (@TayborSnapping) knows that. The 49ers signed the specialist to a two-year extension earlier this month, and he is excited to remain in the Bay Area.

Pepper joined 95.7 The Game on Tuesday morning and shared why the new contract means so much.

"I was super excited to get re-signed by the 49ers because in the four or five years that I've been trying to make it in this league, my number one thing, I wanted a team to put their trust in me," Pepper explained on The Morning Roast. "And the 49ers extending that contract ... is really all I've been fighting for."

Pepper had never spent more than one year with a team before joining the 49ers. San Francisco initially signed him to replace an inconsistent Kyle Nelson, who was waived the same day Pepper was brought in. Now, Pepper can take comfort in knowing that he will be with the 49ers for at least the next two seasons, and the growing fan-favorite can continue to delight his new followers on Twitter.

No interview would be complete without asking about Jimmy Garoppolo. The quarterback is consistently the topic of sports-talk radio and media speculation. Pepper was asked if he is in or out on Garoppolo.

"I'm in all the way, man," an enthusiastic Pepper immediately responded. "Jimmy, aside from being handsome, he's the man, and everybody in the locker room loves him. I couldn't imagine the 49ers without him."

It's that handsome part that has to make Pepper wary. The long snapper was asked if Garoppolo is the type of teammate a player should feel comfortable bringing a girlfriend around.

"I wouldn't bring my fiancé around Jimmy!" joked Pepper while laughing.

You can listen to the entire entertaining conversation with Pepper below. It includes his take on music, beer, and California fast food.

According to Sports Illustrated contributor Noah Strackbein, who writes for "All Steelers" on the network, there's a level of confidence within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization that they can strike a deal for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk—and at a bargain rate. "According to a team source, the Steelers and 49ers trade talks are real," Strackbein wrote. "While nothing is imminent, they 'would be surprised if it didn't happen.' But it all comes down to compensation, and Pittsburgh isn't willing to budge much on price." While it seems unlikely that the 49ers would part ways with Aiyuk for anything less than a first-round draft
