49ers set to own 10 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft

The hiring of Robert Saleh by the New York Jets means that the San Francisco 49ers are set to receive two compensatory third-round picks, one coming in each of the next two drafts. That means, as of right now, general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan are set to own the following 10 picks in the upcoming draft.
It is important to note that while the current overall pick numbers are listed below, the selections from the fourth round will shift downward once the NFL awards compensatory selections.

PFF names Javon Kinlaw as 49ers' potential breakout player for 2021

There's always room for improvement. Rookie San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw showed flashes during his first NFL season, and general manager John Lynch recently shared some high praise for his young defender.
"I think Kinlaw is going to be a dominant force in this league," Lynch recently told The Athletic while comparing the defender's rookie season to the start of Hall of Fame defensive lineman Warren Sapp. "I should say, 'is going to become,' because he's not there yet. He's shown flashes."

Odds Shark shared the most recent odds for which team would have quarterback Deshaun Watson on its roster at the start of the 2021 season. Just days ago, Bovada gave the San Francisco 49ers the third-best odds to end up with Watson. Oddsmakers now have four teams — the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and Chicago Bears — ahead of San Francisco.
