The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 10 contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Both wide receiver
Deebo Samuel and running back Tevin Coleman are ruled out. Neither practiced this week. Two other receivers, River Cracraft and Trent Taylor, are listed as "questionable."
Sunday will be Samuel's third consecutive missed game due to a hamstring injury. He also missed the first three games of the season after suffering a Jones fracture in June.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that cornerback Richard Sherman would not be activated from injured reserve before this weekend's game. The 49ers opened his practice windows this week. Sherman's most-likely return will be on November 29 after the bye week, against the Los Angeles Rams.
"He did a good job," Shanahan explained. "Was able to practice all three days on scout team. If we had to do it, we could push it, but it wouldn't be the smartest thing. So, we're going to take him into this bye week and feel good about him going against the Rams."
Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Saints, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Friday's practice participation reports.
