Offense Nick Mullens' numbers were respectable, but he had a very rugged evening before feasting in garbage time. He committed two turnovers and was fortunate there weren't far more after tossing a host of near-interceptions. It should be noted he wasn't surrounded by an award-winning supporting cast. His turnovers came after backup left tackle Justin Skule was abused on the outside and his go-to guy, wide receiver Richie James, is a 2018 seventh-round pick who is anonymous to the national audience. The 49ers had eight first downs, 131 yards and three points with two minutes left in the third quarter. Defense Poor Emmanuel Moseley. He's a solid player, but not a shutdown corner and he often has been all alone against elite wideouts this season. It didn't go well against DeAndre Hopkins and D.K. Metcalf. And he won't frame Thursday's performance against Davante Adams. Before this unit was torched by Aaron Rodgers (305 yards, four TDs), it set the tone for a forgettable evening by missing tackles on running back Aaron Jones on the game-opening drive.
