The San Francisco 49ers are at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, where they held their last of three full practices this week. The team is preparing for its Week 2 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. #49ers DL Javon Kinlaw (knee) and Arik Armstead (adductor) are taking part in stretch at start of practice after being limited on Thursday. CB Emmanuel Moseley (knee) also with the group in stretch after not practicing past two days. This only part open to media today.



49ers RB Jeff Wilson 'definitely on schedule' to return this season, says Kyle Shanahan

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided several injury updates during a conference call this afternoon. Among them was confirmation that cornerback Jason Verrett would miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. A surprising injury update was that running back Raheem Mostert will miss about eight weeks after sustaining some chipped knee cartilage. He exited the game in the first half and was replaced by rookie Elijah Mitchell. The 49ers spent two draft picks on running backs. In addition to Mitchell, a sixth-round pick, the team drafted Trey Sermon out of Ohio State in the third round.

Local fans of the San Francisco 49ers finally have something to cheer for as their team will play in a packed Levi's Stadium for the first time in just over 20 months. Coincidentally, the Niners will face the Green Bay Packers, the same team they last faced at the stadium in front of thousands of fans in the NFC Championship Game. That game ended with a blowout in the Niners' favor, 37-20, and the team will look to continue this success on this upcoming Sunday night. The Niners as a whole seem to be excited to play a prime time game in front of their fans, and star tight end George Kittle, for one, is as excited as can be.
