The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has officially placed cornerbacks Jamar Taylor and Ken Webster on injured reserve. The team also waived safety Chris Edwards. Taylor and Webster were both injured during Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Taylor suffered a torn ACL, and Webster sustained what head coach Kyle Shanahan described as a "pretty severe hamstring pull." The injuries end their seasons. Taylor finishes the season with 22 tackles, two tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, a sack, two interceptions, and three passes defensed through eight game appearances.
