Rams at 49ers, Week 6 predictions: Faith in the Niners’ chances is diminishing

The San Francisco 49ers are set to host the Los Angeles Rams at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, October 18 at 5:20 p.m. PT. Each week, the
49ers Webzone staff predicts the winner within its annual
NFL Pick 'em contest. That includes writers and
forum moderators.
Just
two of seven participating staff members this week selected the 49ers to beat the Rams. This is the first week that doesn't feature every staff member selecting San Francisco to win. The 49ers are currently a three-point underdog.
As for all the fans who are taking part in our NFL Pick 'em contest,
71 percent have the
Rams winning the game, as of this post.
Of all the Week 6 game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from the matchup between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Voting has 99 percent of fans believing the Dolphins will earn the victory.
The closest matchup, when it comes to the predictions, is between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, with 51 percent selecting the Bears to win the game.

Potential 49ers defensive draft target visiting this week
Last week, it was reported that the San Francisco 49ers planned to host former Kentucky cornerback Andru Phillips on a pre-draft visit. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo confirms that the visit will take place during the upcoming week, which marks the final opportunity for such visits to occur.
Phillips will also meet with the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans this week.

No one is perfect. Each of us makes mistakes. I do for sure. Peruse your way through the many articles I've written for 49ers Webzone and you'll see plenty of mistakes. Whether it's a typo or some prediction I offered that didn't go as I had thought.
The San Francisco 49ers are no different. John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan have made their share of mistakes. Fortunately for all of us, they hit on more than they miss. But I wonder if we were able to catch them in a moment of complete transparency if they might admit to wanting to hit the Ctrl+Z and "undo" some moves.
