George Kittle is clearly healthy. The 49ers' All-Pro tight end returned from a two-game absence from a knee injury and had one of the best statistical performances by a player at his position in NFL history in a 25-20 loss to the Eagles on Sunday night.

Of course, the San Francisco 49ers will need to be playing for something for either's return to be worth it. These next few games are critical for the 49ers' playoff hopes. That begins on Monday night when the team hosts the Buffalo Bills at its temporary home, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Shanahan initially hoped to get Garoppolo back by Week 15. Head coach Kyle Shanahan sounds optimistic that reinforcements for his injury-ravaged roster are on the way. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel appears to be eyeing a Week 12 return. We know head coach Kyle Shanahan is optimistic that several injured players will be making their returns this week. That includes Samuel, along with cornerback Richard Sherman and running backs Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman. Samuel shared a video via Instagram with the caption, "Finally back to work."
