Raheem Mostert had a response for those concerned about the San Francisco 49ers' missing weapons against the New York Jets. The running back scored on the first offensive play of the game, running 80 yards to the end zone.

The 49ers are without tight end George Kittle on offense and without cornerback Richard Sherman and pass rusher Dee Ford on defense.

The good news is that newly-signed veteran wide receiver Mohamed Sanu and rookie receiver Brandon Aiyuk are active. A hamstring injury forced the rookie to miss Week 1.

San Francisco (0-1) currently leads New York (0-1) 7-0 at MetLife Stadium.

But have they improved their roster this first week of NFL free agency? Let's take a look at which additions and returning players help, and which losses hurt. Additions that help The addition that helped the most is likely edge rusher Leonard Floyd. The veteran pass rusher played in all 17 games last season and hasn't missed a game since 2017. The 49ers have been searching for that edge rusher opposite of Nick Bosa since Dee Ford. Floyd very well could be that guy, finishing with at least nine sacks
