The San Francisco 49ers officially announced that the team has waived Takkarist McKinley after the defensive end failed his physical due to a groin injury. Matt Barrows of The Athletic first reported the move. The 49ers also announced that three more players — wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, tight end Daniel Helm, and tackle Trent Williams — have been added to the reserve/COVID-19 list.
