Kyle Juszczyk confident Jimmy Garoppolo can excel again, once healthy

To say that Jimmy Garoppolo struggled during his half of play against the Miami Dolphins would be an understatement. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback recorded the lowest single-game pass rating (15.7) of his career while going 7-of-17 for 77 yards and two interceptions. In Garoppolo's defense, he had missed two games after suffering a high-ankle sprain during Week 2, and the injury was clearly impacting his ability to throw the football and move around. "When he was with the Ravens, they used him in a lot of different ways, and then San Francisco signed on to a big contract for a fullback – certainly the highest-paid player at his

By David Bonilla

The San Francisco 49ers suffered yet another injury at running back. Jeff Wilson Jr. is headed to injured reserve this week after suffering a high-ankle sprain on Sunday against the New England Patriots. That came after the running back rushed for a career-high 112 yards through three quarters of play. Head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked today if Tevin Coleman could return this week. The veteran running back has been on injured reserve with a knee injury since September 26. "I hope so," Shanahan responded. "I'm not sure yet, though. I mean, I know he can't go today. I'd be surprised if he gets out there fully for Wednesday, but I think that will be a
