Linebacker Kwon Alexander's first season with the San Francisco 49ers didn't go exactly as planned. He worked his way back from an ACL injury in 2018 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers only to deal with another setback the next season.

After an impressive start to the season, Alexander missed eight games in 2019 due to a torn pectoral muscle but returned for San Francisco's playoff run. He registered 34 combined tackles, 0.5 sacks, four passes defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through his eight regular-season starts last season.

That wasn't the linebacker's only injury. Alexander underwent surgery in February to repair a biceps injury that also plagued him during the playoffs.

The founder of Hot Boyzz University expects big things to come from the 2020 season, and it sounds like he is ready to start attacking some opposing offenses.

"Y'all ain't seen s--t yet!" Alexander wrote via Twitter. "Im coming for blood this year!"

Pro Football Focus recently ranked the 49ers' linebackers group, which features Alexander, Fred Warner, and Dre Greenlaw, as a top-10 unit.

"Kwon Alexander returns for his second season in San Francisco after being limited to just 423 snaps last year," wrote analyst Steve Palazzolo. "Alexander is another rangy, middle-of-the-field defender who usually grades well in coverage. However, he has tackling issues of his own, missing 13 of his 46 attempts last year to form the worst rate in the league."
