San Francisco 49ers cornerback Jamar Taylor went down near the end of the second quarter of the team's Week 12 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. He had to be carted off the field and to the locker room after appearing to suffer a left knee injury. Taylor appeared to be in significant pain as he was helped onto the cart. The injury came on a hit from Rams running back Malcolm Brown. Taylor has been playing at the slot cornerback position during K'Waun Williams' absence. Emmanuel Moseley replaced him. Taylor, an eight-year veteran, is in his first season with San Francisco. Cornerback Jamar Taylor was carted off the field and to the SoFi Stadium locker room late in the first half of the San Francisco 49ers' 23-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He was immediately ruled out. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters after the game that the team fears the defensive back suffered a torn ACL. The San Francisco 49ers are currently scheduled to have a lot of their players hit free agency next offseason. A lot. Thirty-four players are scheduled to become either an unrestricted free agent or a restricted free agent, according to Spotrac.com. Seven more are scheduled to become exclusive-rights free agents.
