There were times when San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Kentavius Street doubted whether or not he would ever return to 100 percent. He suffered an ACL injury shortly before the 49ers made him a fourth-round draft pick in 2018. Street obviously did not play during his rookie season and continued to recover from the knee injury. He landed on injured reserve in 2019, but finally got an opportunity to step onto the football field late in the season after being designated to return. The 24-year-old defender has received rave reviews from teammates for his showing in training camp. I believe that potentially we've got an

Dante Pettis did enough during training camp and the days that followed to earn a spot on the San Francisco 49ers' initial 53-man roster. The third-year receiver had a disappointing sophomore campaign following an impressive rookie year and was inactive during Super Bowl LIV. It sounds like Pettis has turned things around, regaining the trust of the 49ers coaching staff. "I'm really proud of Dante, and the commitment he made this offseason," general manager John Lynch said Sunday during a conference call with reporters. "I think he was disappointed, as were we, in what transpired last year, and what didn't transpire. There's no one to blame for that, but how do you fix it? You go to work." Pettis hauled in 27 passes for 467 yards with five scores
